Contemporary Artist Research Presentation
For this assignment you will start with writing responses to a list of questions about the artistic styles of a contemporary ceramic artist. You may choose the artist from research you do on your own, or select one from the list. The artist that you choose should have made work within the last 100 years. The book cart in our classroom has several Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated magazine issues, and these should be your primary sources for information. You may also use any books from the book cart.
To start, look through the magazines or books to find a ceramic artist whose work interests you. Along with the pictures, you should find an article on the artist. Then use the Internet to find more information or images.
